Terms
Last updated: 7 August 2026. By using Project Next App you agree to the terms below. They are short and written to be read.
What this is
Project Next App is a free tool that suggests a technology stack based on answers you provide. Recommendations are deterministic rules over your answers — informational, not professional advice. You are responsible for evaluating any recommendation against your own requirements before acting on it.
Accuracy and no warranty
The site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Capability claims about third-party products are backed by cited evidence at the time we record them, but vendors change their products, pricing, and terms without telling us. Verify anything you intend to depend on with the vendor. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made, or losses incurred, in reliance on a recommendation.
Disclosure
Project Next App is operated by the team behind Layerbase, and recommendations may include Layerbase products. We show the exit cost of every recommended product — including our own — by the same rules, so the bias is visible rather than hidden. Some recommendations contain no Layerbase products at all; that is by design.
Third-party names
Product and company names on recommendation cards (Supabase, Neon, Convex, Vercel, and others) are trademarks of their respective owners. Their appearance here is nominative — it identifies the product being recommended or compared — and implies no endorsement in either direction.
Acceptable use
Don't attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for others, misrepresent its output as your own product, or use it to break the law.
Availability
The tool is free and we intend to keep it running, but we may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time without notice.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated version. Questions go to bob@hackerlab.app.
