Privacy

Last updated: 7 August 2026. The short version: using this site requires no account, and we run no analytics or tracking of any kind.

What we collect

Nothing tied to you. The stack picker runs without an account, and the answers you give exist only in your browser and in the share link the tool produces — they are never written to a database on our side. Opening a shared card simply decodes the answers from its URL.

We currently run no analytics: no page-view tracking, no advertising pixels, no fingerprinting, no third-party trackers. If that ever changes, this page will say so before it does.

Share links

A stack card's URL encodes the answers that produced it. That is what makes cards shareable without us storing anything — but it also means anyone you send a link to can see the answers behind it. Share links contain your wizard answers and nothing else: no name, no email, no identifier.

Cookies and local storage

We set no cookies for visitors. Your light-or-dark theme preference is kept in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device. The only cookies on this site are session cookies for the content editors who sign in to our admin area — if you can't log in to that, none of this applies to you.

Hosting

The site is served by Vercel, whose infrastructure keeps standard short-lived server logs (including IP addresses) for operating and securing the service, as described in Vercel's privacy policy. We do not use those logs to identify visitors.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data — and given the above, we hold essentially none to sell. Nothing is shared with third parties beyond the hosting described here.

Affiliation

Project Next App is built by the team behind Layerbase. Recommendations may include Layerbase products; where they do, the exit cost of that pick is shown on the same card, by the same rules, as every other vendor's.
