Last updated: 31 October 2026. The short version: reading this blog requires no account, and the only measurement is cookieless page-view counting.

What we collect

Nothing tied to you. There is no account to make, nothing to sign in to, and nothing to fill in. Browsing the site and its RSS feed sends no personal information to us.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies, without cross-site tracking, and without storing anything that identifies you. A visitor is distinguished only by a hash that is discarded after the session. No advertising pixels, no fingerprinting, no other third-party trackers.

Cookies and local storage

We set no cookies for visitors. One thing is kept in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device: your light-or-dark theme preference. Clearing site data in your browser removes it.

Hosting

The site is served by Vercel, whose infrastructure keeps standard short-lived server logs (including IP addresses) for operating and securing the service, as described in Vercel's privacy policy. We do not use those logs to identify visitors.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data, and given the above, we hold essentially none to sell. Nothing is shared with third parties beyond the hosting described here.

Affiliation

Project Next App is written and run by the team behind Layerbase. Where a post touches something the team builds, the relationship is stated in the post itself rather than implied.
